Our Services

Do You Offer Turnkey Solutions?

When a customer contacts us, we carefully assess their project and recommend the solution that best meets their requirements. We then supply the software and equipment needed to deliver the proposed solution.

The customer’s technical team remains responsible for the civil engineering work, installation, and wiring of the solution.

During commissioning, we support our customers by providing remote assistance to verify and configure the installed system. We can also offer on-site services, including supervision of the customer’s technical team and system configuration.

Do You Provide Post-Delivery Support?

Upon request, we offer remote support to help you get the most out of the solution we have delivered. Our team also remains available to answer any questions you may have.

A Truck Damaged the Pole and the Installed Camera. How Can They Be Replaced?

If a truck damages the pole and the installed camera, simply contact us to order replacement equipment. Once your order has been confirmed, we will do everything possible to ensure prompt delivery. Installation of the replacement equipment remains the customer’s responsibility.

We also provide remote assistance to configure the new equipment and ensure the system is operating correctly.

Is Training Required to Use or Administer Your Solutions? Do You Provide a User Manual?

We provide a user manual for all applications supplied with our solutions. Depending on the system configuration, we can also offer a brief training session.

In most cases, the user manual is sufficient to become familiar with the software. Should you require any additional assistance, our team will be happy to help.

Technologies

What Technologies Do You Use for Your Projects?

We use a variety of programming languages to develop our software, and all our image processing algorithms are now enhanced by Artificial Intelligence.

In addition, all hardware supplied to our customers is configured and thoroughly tested at our facilities before shipment. Depending on the application and customer requirements, we provide both line scan and area scan cameras.

What Is the Difference Between a Line Scan Camera and an Area Scan Camera?

A line scan camera uses a one-dimensional sensor (1 × L pixels) that captures a single line of pixels at a time during each acquisition. Typical sensor resolutions are 1 × 2,048 or 1 × 4,096 pixels.

During image acquisition, the software receives each line sequentially and stitches them together in memory to reconstruct a complete panoramic image of the object moving in front of the camera. This technology makes it possible to capture images of virtually unlimited length, making it ideal for imaging the entire side of a truck, train, or vehicle chassis, regardless of its length. A document scanner, for example, uses a line scan sensor to digitize documents.

An area scan camera uses a two-dimensional sensor (H × L pixels) that captures a conventional rectangular image in a single exposure. Digital cameras and smartphone cameras are typical examples of devices that use area scan sensors.

What is Deep learning ?

Deep Learning is a branch of Artificial Intelligence based on multi-layer artificial neural networks (hence the term deep). These networks enable computers to learn how to recognize patterns by being trained on large amounts of example data, rather than relying on manually programmed rules.

Among its many applications, Deep Learning enables highly effective object detection, feature extraction, and object identification within images.

Products & Solutions

How Can I Request a Quote?

We regularly work on projects of varying levels of complexity. To provide you with an accurate quotation, we first need to assess your project based on as much information as possible. Providing a detailed project specification is therefore highly recommended.

To get in touch with us, simply complete the contact form with a brief description of your project. You can also contact us by phone.

What Are Your Lead Times?

A TREX solution can typically be delivered within a few weeks, depending on camera and computer procurement lead times, as well as the complexity of the system to be deployed.

Is the TREX Suite Compatible with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)?

The TREX Software Suite makes collected data available through XML files, JSON files, and web services, making integration with third-party applications and transportation management systems straightforward. Integration can be achieved using plug-ins or, where required, through custom development.

Are Software Updates Included by Default?

Our software is updated regularly. To benefit from the latest bug fixes, enhancements, and improvements—particularly to our Artificial Intelligence models—software updates are provided under a Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA).

How can you help me track my containers?

The TREX CONTAINER solution, together with the TREX Software Suite, identifies containers transported by truck, rail, or other means each time they pass through a TREX acquisition point.

All information collected during each passage—including the container code, date, time, site, track, direction, and captured images—is stored and made available for consultation and tracking.

Which Code Standards Are Supported by Your Solutions?

Our systems support a wide range of industry standards, including:

  • UIC – Railway wagon identification
  • ISO 6346 – Freight container identification codes
  • ANPR / ALPR / LAPI – Automatic license plate recognition for European plates as well as many other countries, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and many others (Latin and Arabic alphabets supported)
  • ADR Codes – Recognition of ADR orange hazard plates and associated hazard pictograms

For more information about the standards supported by our solutions, please refer to the TREX Software Suite page.
